What exactly is Crail Fest?
Crail Fest is a community-driven celebration of music and fun. We bring the heart of the East Neuk together for a weekend of live talent, local markets, and family-friendly entertainment in the beautiful East Neuk coastal village.
When is the festival happening?
Crail Fest is scheduled for Friday 24th and Saturday 25th July 2026. For a full list of timings see the event info page.
Where in Fife is the location?
Main events take place in Beechwalk Park. The fancy dress parade leaves from the shorgate at 11am.
Is it a family-friendly vibe?
Absolutely! Crail Fest is designed for all generations. We have a dedicated Kids Zone, beer tent, and music that gets everyone from toddlers to grandparents dancing.
What's the atmosphere like?
Expect a warm, welcoming community-focused festival. It’s laid-back, inclusive, and celebrates the vibrant creative spirit of the East Neuk with a mix of high-energy performances and relaxed market browsing.
How do I become a volunteer?
We love local support! Volunteers help with everything from ticket checks to artist liaison. If you're passionate about community events, stay tuned to our social media for the sign-up form.
Tickets & Entry
How do I buy tickets?
Tickets are available exclusively through the Crail Community events website. We strongly recommend booking in advance to secure your spot and take advantage of early-bird pricing before the gate opens.
What's included in my ticket?
Friday evening tickets include access to the beer tent, stage area. Saturday access is free for everyone. There is an extra charge for the kids zone
Are there age restrictions?
Crail Fest is a family-friendly community event. Children under 5 enter for free! Juniors aged 5–16 require a children's ticket and must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over at all times.
Can I leave and come back?
Yes, re-entry is permitted on the Friday with your wristband. Saturday no ticket is needed and your free to come and go.
Everyone is Welcome
Crail Fest is accessible to all, but please note that some ground may be uneven because it’s on grass. We have disabled-access toilets and a disabled drop-off point available on-site. If you need any assistance, our friendly volunteers are always here to help!
Festival Food & Drink
What tasty treats are on the menu?
We have a mouth-watering lineup for your weekend fuel! Budds Bites will be there both days serving up juicy burgers, tasty hot dogs, and comforting baked potatoes. On Friday, enjoy an extra-special treat from Penmans, followed by a Saturday feast including Joanna’s chip van, zesty Mexican options, spicy chicken pakora, and fresh artisan pizzas.
Can I bring my own picnic spread?
You are most welcome to bring your own snacks and soft drinks for a family picnic on the grass! We do encourage everyone to support our amazing local vendors where they can—it’s a great way to celebrate the spirit of the East Neuk.
What’s your alcohol policy?
To keep the festival vibes safe and friendly, strictly no outside alcohol is allowed on site. We have a fantastic licensed bar offering cold lagers, crisp ciders, spirits, and soft drinks, with every penny of the proceeds supporting our community projects!

Weather Ready
Fife weather is famous for four seasons in one day! Pack sun cream, a wide-brimmed hat, and a light waterproof layer.

Cash & Cards
Most bars and vendors accept card, but some of our smaller artisan market stalls may prefer cash. Bring a mix for convenience.

Comfy Shoes
You'll be on your feet dancing and exploring our local market. Supportive trainers or boots are highly recommended over flip-flops.

We operate a 'Challenge 25' policy at all bars. Please bring a valid photo ID if you plan to enjoy some festival spirits.

We have limited seating , you ar welcome to bring your own seats but these are not permitted directly in front of the stage

To keep everyone safe, please leave don't bring glass, alcohol weapons or illegal substances into the park
Getting There & Parking
We encourage all our visitors to travel sustainably. Crail is a small, historic village with limited street parking, so please use the designated festival sites below to keep our community green and accessible for all.
Where can I park?
Free parking in the field just outside Crail , please be mindful to the residents of crail and park sensibly
Can I take the bus?
Stagecoach 95 services run hourly along the coast from St Andrews and Leven. The Crail High Street stop is a 2-minute walk from the park.
Is there bike storage?
We have secure bike racks located in the park. Cycling is the greenest way to get to the festival!
What about Blue Badges?
Accessibility parking is available at the back of Crail Church with a drop off point at the side entrance to the park .

Bag Checks & Entry
Our security team may conduct random bag searches upon entry
Lost Kids & Meeting Point
Lost little ones? Our meeting point is at the Info Tent near the entrance to the stage area.
First Aid & Medics
A professional first aid team is on duty throughout the festival. Find the first responders gazebo or alert any volenteer.
Weather & Emergencies
We celebrate rain or shine, so come prepared for the Fife coast weather! Should conditions become severe, please follow instructions from our staff and volunteers or listen for safety announcements. We’ll keep you updated to ensure everyone stays safe.
